10 Weeks!

Wahoo! I'm 10 weeks!

I have been listening to the heartbeat in the evenings and its such a huge help with settling my mind!

I have been get stretchy type aches above my pubic bone so I guess it wont be long before it pops up and my bump starts to grow!

I am really excited that we are going to have another baby, I know Olivia would love the company.

Not lots to say today as we have been so busy sorting out business stuff I haven't really given the pregnancy much thought, though I'm looking forward to the scan on the 12Th of January!

Amazing!!!

The scan went very very well!

Baby moving about, arms legs waving around in there!

Its starting to sink in now that we are going to have another baby!! its quite scary really!

The woman said she couldnt find a reason for the bleed and it was just one of those things.

But everything is just fine x

Im so happy!!!

I recieved my doppler this morning and I have found my babies heartbeat!

The relief is just imense! I have a scan tomorrow aswell but im not worried at all!!

9 weeks

Been having pink spotting over the week, mainly after doing something like heavy lifting, going loo etc
It's stopped today and still feel very pregnant though I haven't felt sick at all just hungry!

We went into town today to get last minute Christmas stuff and it went fine and Olivia was good considering how boring it must fo been for her!

I have another scan on Christmas eve at 10am, im so nervous but deep down I know everything is ok.

Will update then!

Well after a horrible tummy bug over end of last week and weekend I have got past 8 weeks!

So im happy now and im sure everything will be fine!

The midwife came for a home visit today to fill out the rest of my green book, she was lovely and easy to talk too.

Supportive of homebirths aswell so thats great!

Got a cold again! which is really annoying but id rather have it than Paul as I just cant cope with man flu.

Olivia is still abit grumpy from the bug, but much better than she was.

I stil have abit of morning/allday sickness but some lemonade seems to help, as I still dont have much of on appetite after the weekend.


Me and Paul have decided we are going to wait until the birth to find out the sex this time, adds to the excitement I think!

So really looking forward to it! (the birth yes... the pain no......)

Everything is fine, saw my blob and heartbeat!!

I am thrilled! Happy and most of all relieved!!!!

Well after some pink spotting on sunday morning I have a scan tomorrow at 930 am.

I am so anxious about it, though I feel everything is probably fine and the bleeding was caused by bedding the night before!

Well im so scared!

Im coming up to the exact weekend I learnt we were loosing our last baby :( When I started bleeding.

Im at the same day of the week I turned 7 weeks last time, so im abit worried.

I still have symptoms where as I did'nt last time, so I suppose thats something to keep me going on.

I am mega hungry in the morning and gag at nasty things, im shatterd (mainly due to Oli waking in the night) and my tummy is abit achy.

Really annoyed though that im going to have to clear the leaves in the garden (huge pile), and have no idea what thats going to do to my already hard working body, Paul still hasn't done it, so will have to do it myself!

Then again he has a hard day job and is working hard (roll eyes) so I shouldn't really expect him too should I?

Well enough of ranting about him!

Its exciting to see what the develoment of the baby is like, its coming to the stage where its classed as a fetus now, starting to look and take more of a shape of a human rather than some alien from out of space!

Oli seems to be more demanding lately, I think shes picked up on the fact that I have less energy and is taking full advantage, the joys!


Midwife rang on Wed, shes coming out on the 15th to fill out the rest of the green book and to talk about what I want to do etc, which is great, i'm looking forward to it!

Still definatly want a water birth at home, I was looking at birth pools last night and the inflatable ones look the best, so I will have a search round nearer the time.

Have been reading lots of water birth stories on homebirth.org and they all sound exaclty how I would want my birth to go this time, dont really want to go hospital again, its horrible and they dont give a damn!

Will update when reached 8 weeks, hopefully with good news!.

Sunday my symptoms seemed as they were gone in the afternoon, it was abit scary and I obviously thought the worst!

They came back Monday though, hunger sickness mainly, sore boobs and tierdness.

It was around this stage last time when my symptoms totaly dissapeard (but didnt really think about it too much at the time) so im naturaly worried about it.

Today I have similar symptoms and gagged so bad at leftover dinner (went green I think) it was a bean cottage pie (tastes nice!) but smelt horrible this morning!

The sooner I get to January and the scan the better, I just want to enjoy the pregnancy.

Urghhh...... I feel so sick!

Oli has just done the most vile poo ever and its making me feel worse!

She was up twice last night, has been like this most of the week, im not really sure why apart from maybe she needs a bed now.

Woke up to find her screaming because her legs were stuck between the bars, so I definatly think we will get one soon!

I hope I dont feel like this all day!

Wahoo 6 weeks today!!

I am so chuffed im 6 weeks!

I recieved my scan date for 12th January 2009 at 8.45am!

I am really looking forward to it and really nervous at the same time, but im sure everything is ok.

The sickness is getting worse, im feeling more sick in the day (still havn't been!) and my boobs kill!

It doesn't help that Oli always wants to squash them and climb all over me!

I feel so tierd most ofthe day and would love a nap, but missy won't allow that!

Paul keeps saying that im moody, well er come on, I have 1000's of hormones pumping through my body trying to make a baby, it's hardley going to be plain sailing is it!

So at my half way to twelve weeks! I am hoping these go by quickly, but with Christmas and Olis birthday on the way, im sure it will.

Yes im so moody! and I cried while watching snowman with Oli when the song "walking in the air started"

I don't know what I want, im indecisive anyway! so im all over the place!

Urghh, my boobs kill! Oli keeps jumping on them and I swear I have nearly gone up a cup size already!

Trousers are already getting tight and I have been getting small signs that the sickness is not far off!!

I feel queezy sometimes, but its mainly hunger I think.

I am shatterd all the time though!

I can't believe how sleepy I feel.

Hopefuly midwife wont take ages to ring either as I would like to talk to her.

Coming upto 6 weeks this week though according to midwife dates I should be on wed. But we will see when I have a scan.

5 weeks!

Yay 5 weeks today!!!

I am so happy I have made it to 5 weeks!

I have been feeling very hungry in the morning and my boobs hurt in the evening, the tierdness is just so strong during the day,I have to have a nap!

No sickness as of yet! thankgod!

Though im sure it wont be long before it starts, so im going to enjoy not having it!

Midwife is supposed to ne rining me next week to arrange a home visit, can't wait!

Well I met the midwife today (though not mine as shes sick) she was really nice.

Went through my green book with me, but said it ws unlikely id get an early scan :( she said the only do it if you have bleeding.

I am going to talk to Claire (my midwife) next week when she phones me to arrange a home visit, it would really help to have one.

On the positive side of things, I got my green book and bounty pack!
And they are very pro homebirth which is fantastic! had 31 sucessful homebirths already this year!

So thats it for today, have really sore boobs (Oli keeps jumping on them!) and my lower belly aches, oh and bp was fine too.

Well ive got a driving lesson tomorrow morning and then my midwife appointment at 2.30.

Really looking forward to seeing the midwife and I really hope she can get me in for a scan soon!

Olivia has been really good lately, still doesnt do as shes told but what 23 month old does!

I feel fine in the mornings, and feel crap bu the end of the day! I have so much cm down there I feel like im wetting myself! TMI!

I keep getting stretching type pains, and believe they are a good sign.

So happy!

Got my first bfp at 9dpo last Monday, I was so shocked, after all this time its finally happening again.
I had a much better line last Friday when af was supposed to be due (thankgod she didn't turn up!

So there is my pretty line!

I am seeing the midwife on wednesday, hopefully wil be able to discuss having an early scan due to my previous missed miscarriage I lost at nearly 8 weeks.

Sticky dust for me please!!
